Conscious Body Workshop

viagra without prescriptionalt=”" width=”150″ height=”150″ />The habits that keep us locked in unhelpful attitudes, behaviors and perspectives have their roots in muscle memory and archaic postures. Find the posture, open the feelings to the old experiences, recognize the missing piece and the old pattern dissolves in a flash! In this six-week closed group workshop or three-hour mini-workshop introduction we will explore how to use the body to resolve these patterns. We will use group work, work in pairs, individual imagery and perhaps one or two individual process pieces in front of the group to bring out the potential for more power, pleasure and purpose.

Conscious Body Mini-Workshop, Saturday. Sept. 10th, 1:15-4:15pm, Yoga Soup, 28 Parker Way, Santa Barbara, CA Cost is $25. To register for the Conscious Body Workshop, go to: Yoga Soup beat online casinos

More on ReVitalize

This class is about energy, generating it, tolerating its presence in our physical structures which carry blocks to its flow, opening to live with more of it. The class activities are developed to build energy in the body, and we call that CHARG

ING. Most exercise is meant to DISCHARGE the body, through toning athletic work, resulting in endorphin release and relaxation, increased fitness. It is possible to relax in CHARGING the body too, and that happens as the electro-magnetic field of the body expands. As the breath and body movements charge our structure, it vibrates with energy, and rattles the blockages lodged in our cellular memory. ReVitalize loosens these unconscious body armorings, and opens us to a free flow of vitality.

ReVitalize

Most fitness classes have the intention to tone the body and build health and athleticism, no attention required. As a result, its common to see fitness classes with news on the television, and joggers with ear buds, getting exercise DONE. And t

here is often a subtle future orientation: if we work out now, we will be in better shape later, or look better down the road, or avoid a heart attack. In addition, fitness discharges the body, where ReVitalize charges the body with energy.

ReVitalize requires awareness, and presence in sensation and feeling. And rather than tone, the goal is energy. There are so many ways we leak energy to avoid an invitation to simple being. The end result of ReVitalize is relaxed, pleasurable, grounded ease and comfort with ourselves.

We begin by opening the body through exercise and stretching. Next we use very specific positions, movements and breathing methods to charge the body. Most of the body responds positively to this experience; the aspects and areas which react to the experience are old self-images, masks and defenses that aim to keep us small and safe. These melt in time as we simply welcome them with consicousness. The result is a clearing of the things which hold us from the present moment, and a deeper entry in to ourselves and life.

On ReVitalize and Anxiety

More than 40 million people in this country have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder of one type or another. That’s one American in six. And that’s only those counted; the real number suffering anxiety is much higher, but such a personal adm

ission is stigmatized, as it means something is wrong with us in the context of the happy liberated cultural norm around us. In all honesty, anxiety, which is the true tapestry of our uncertain lives, belongs completely. Our anxieties are the most normal things about us and are the fuel on which our commerce is built.

How we deal with anxiety is a much more interesting topic. Simply put, anxiety is the condition of an excess of energy is present in the body. Contrary to what we might think, this is an unsettling situation, one that begs for release, physically, sexually, commercially. But the body has trained to hold, to repress, to bear without expressing, the intense feelings we move through in our lives. And the old armor that dampens tough feelings is the very structure which makes our bodies less porous to energy. The result is a variety of symptoms ranging from nausea to panic, heartache to numbness, and pain as this excess of energy meets the dam that holds the mask on.

If you are aware of anxiety, you are in a state which can very soon open to freedom, and to a tolerance of more energy. Simply experienced without identifying with your symptoms, your body is invited to change. In ReVitalize we energize the body, and often trigger the structures that limit and control our energy. We built them, long ago. Are they current, still useful? In this class we open to let them vibrate, dissolve and reconfigure.

Craniosacral Unwinding Level 2

Craniosacral Unwinding is a subtle yet powerful doorway to many levels of human function. Following the body’s innate capacity to move into its deepening and healing currents, this method serves as a platform for all kinds of healing work. With

subtle presence and awareness the practitioner acts upon the deepest tissues of the body indirectly, and can influence nervous system regulation, endocrine function, respiration, menstruation, and the soul rhythms. With a different intent, clients can clear tissue restrictions and old behavior patterns that reinforce unsupportive perspectives. Learn how to access this simple, powerful tool to add dimension to all that you do and even who you are.

Level 2 is an exploration of working with a full-body approach, dealing more intensively with restrictions, things that end up stuck in the system. Injury, trauma, TMJ issues will be explored and a deeper understanding of the fluid tides will be gleaned. This course will include work inside the mouth, and some subtle techniques useful to support dental surgery, before and after. Understanding the responses the system gives us more intimately, we’ll begin to move people toward full-body unwinding.

“When Death comes for you, may it find you Alive!” West African proverb

The journey of the self unfolds from the core toward the edge – the edge of understanding, of experience, of awareness. At

the edge all is new, fresh and often challenging. A guide can assist in tracking, witnessing, reflecting the way as the journey unfolds. My work is structured for this purpose. I provide a presence committed to consciousness, grounding, healthy boundary, compassion, energy and an understanding of the ways of personality and essence.

Body–Mind–Spirit Integration

All limitations are anchored in flesh, unconscious beliefs buried in unconscious muscular holding. Else we’d have thought our way out of our issues long ago. Change requires presence in unresolved feelings, aligned with body awareness, and a will to evolve. Otherwise the old resonance triggers the old attitude and behavior. Life is too short to live in the past.

The floor of this work is grounding, breath and presence. The walls are dynamic action, bodywork, breathwork, sound and imagery; we amplifying postures, put words to gestures, developing presence inside the survival circuitry and loosen its holds. The ceiling is vital energy.

What Results Can I Look for?

Results from sessions include: increased grounding, greater awareness, decreased mental chatter, more energy, improved creativity, deeper relaxation, stronger connection to purpose and the release of symptoms.

Where resolution of old patterns is the intent, new patterns are designed to replace them. Where spiritual development is the intent, spirit defines the new dimensions.

What Issues is Body–Mind–Spirit Integration for?

This work is powerful support whether you’re coming to fill deficits or to realize more of your potential. It’s useful with deficits like:

Sleep Issues, Body Symptoms, Low Energy, Anxiety, Emotional Blockages, Chronic Digestive Complaints, Moods/Negativity, ADD/ADHD, Asthma/Breathing Problems, Birth Trauma, Relationship Issues or Spiritual Crisis.
